Start With Your Device, Not the App

Phone-level accessibility settings apply across everything you run, are more capable than most in-app options, and cannot be undone by an update. That makes them the right place to start.

If the Text Is Too Small

• iPhone — Settings › Display & Brightness › Text Size, and Settings › Accessibility › Display & Text Size › Larger Text for a wider range. Bold Text helps more than people expect.
• Android — Settings › Display › Font size and Display size. Display size scales interface elements, not just the words, which is often the one that actually helps.

Zoom (iPhone) and Magnification (Android) let you enlarge part of the screen temporarily, which is useful for reading a paytable without resizing everything permanently.

If Motion or Animation Bothers You

Fish rooms and slot animations are visually busy by design. If that causes discomfort, or you just find it distracting:

• iPhone — Settings › Accessibility › Motion › Reduce Motion.
• Android — Settings › Accessibility › Remove animations (wording varies by manufacturer).

This also reduces the work your device is doing, so it can help with warmth and battery on older handsets — data use and battery drain goes into that side of it.

If Contrast or Colour Is the Problem

Both platforms offer Increase Contrast and colour filters, including options for common forms of colour vision deficiency. Worth knowing: never rely on colour alone to tell game states apart. If two things look the same to you, check the number or label rather than the colour.

Screen brightness matters more than any setting here. Bright rooms wash out detail; very dim rooms make busy screens harder to read, not easier.

One-Handed and Reach

• iPhone — Settings › Accessibility › Touch › Reachability pulls the top of the screen down.
• Android — most manufacturers include a one-handed mode in Settings › Display or Advanced features.

For games needing sustained aiming, such as the fish rooms, landscape orientation and both hands genuinely help. Precision formats are harder one-handed than the pace suggests.

Sound

The games are fully playable muted — nothing essential is conveyed by audio alone. If you want the atmosphere without the volume, headphones give better separation at a lower level than the phone speaker does at a higher one. Both platforms also offer mono audio, which helps if you have hearing loss in one ear.

Comfort Habits That Help More Than Settings

1. Look away regularly. Focusing at one distance for long stretches is what causes most eye strain, not screens themselves.
2. Do not play in the dark with the screen at full brightness. Match the room.
3. Rest your arms. Holding a phone up unsupported for a long session is a shoulder problem waiting to happen.
4. Take breaks on a timer. Useful for comfort, and useful for other reasons too — see playing responsibly.

None of these changes how any game behaves. They only change how comfortable it is to sit with.
